About me

I began my recruitment career in March 2011, joining a boutique recruitment firm in London that specialised in the finance and accounting sectors. Working directly with the Financial Services industry, I developed a robust network of candidates and clients across diverse sectors, including retail and investment banking, investment management, brokerage, and the exchange space.

In January 2016, I took my career to the next level by moving to Australia to establish and launch the firm's Australian office in Sydney. This exciting opportunity allowed me to build an office from scratch, contributing to the company's global expansion. During this time, I focused on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) recruitment across all areas of Financial Services, including investment and retail banking, investment management, brokerages, and exchanges.

In 2023, I founded Avidity Recruitment, a firm specialising in GRC and Cybersecurity. This move reflected my passion for helping businesses and professionals succeed in these critical areas. I also became a director at SSR Personnel, a global security recruitment firm, where I launched and currently lead their Australian operations. My deep industry knowledge and extensive global experience have positioned me as a trusted leader in the recruitment space.

In addition to my recruitment ventures, I serve as the Regional Advisor for The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) in Australia and New Zealand, showcasing my dedication to excellence in the security and risk sectors.

In early 2024, I further diversified my career by launching my YouTube channel. On the channel, I share insights on the latest recruitment trends, provide practical tips for job seekers, and delve into the dynamic world of cybersecurity. The channel is an extension of my mission to empower individuals to achieve career success.
